Learning Objectives
At the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Demonstrate basic understanding of how contraceptive methods work, their risks and benefits, alternatives, effectiveness, and eligibility for use.
- Practice essential counseling techniques in the provision of contraception care.
- Understand how to apply a reproductive justice framework to contraception counseling and prescribing practice.
- Identify existing and future methods of expanding access to contraception.
