  • Demonstrate basic understanding of how contraceptive methods work, their risks and benefits, alternatives, effectiveness, and eligibility for use.
  • Practice essential counseling techniques in the provision of contraception care.
  • Understand how to apply a reproductive justice framework to contraception counseling and prescribing practice.
  • Identify existing and future methods of expanding access to contraception.
